I parked just off Lower Green Lane and followed a footpath through Whitehead Hall Meadow. A network of footpaths east of the site has several suitable take-off locations. Access via the Bridgewater Canal towpath should also be possible.
Beware dog walkers and dogs, and note Astley Green housing may be a congested area. Particularly note the nearby Barton City Airport FRZ - low-flying aircraft may stray outside the FRZ.
The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 26/07/2020. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
