Bidston Hill - Added to Everything Else in North West

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

Hill with good views over Birkenhead, Wallasey etc, and two interesting buildings: the Bidston Windmill, and Bidston Observatory.

Hazards: The area is popular with walkers, so avoid busy times.

Parking: I parked on Boundary Road near the entrance to the nature reserve / urban farm car park: postcode CH43 7PD, although you can park in the car park itself during its opening hours.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 21/07/2019. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Brings back memories. Used to live 10 mins walk from here as a lad.

@kvetner this is currently in the “everything else” category, would it be suitable for FPV? :thinking:

I think not. It can get reasonably busy with walkers.
