Buriton Village and St Mary's - Added to Places of Worship in South East

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission not required.

Come off the A3 Portsmouth - London road at the Buriton junction and follow the signs. A fairly narrow road becomes traffic enraging measures when in the village. Just keep driving until the church is in front and turn right onto the gravel car park.

The marker is my take off spot, along a public footpath with Buriton Estate land either side. Best walked in long trousers as the path is narrow and lined all the way with nettles, You need to be confident hand launching and catching to use this TOAL

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 07/09/2021. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Buriton has a nice village pond with benches shaded by trees, no shop but two pubs, a busy rail main line passing audibly close (one train every 15 minutes) and is situated at the base of the South Downs.

Avid walkers should use the footpaths to climb the slopes for some great views.
