Chirk Aqueduct and Viaduct - Added to Bridges in West Midlands

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

I parked in Chirk Bank next to the canal and walked to the public footpath with views of the Aqueduct and Viaduct a short walk away. The footpath crosses a large field which unlike the aqueduct was nice and quiet.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 24/08/2021. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

@PingSpike West Midlands?

:man_facepalming:t2:

Thanks Karl, will fix this evening :blush:

Where I took off from is in England and both viaduct and aqueduct are half and half in Wales and England. Or to be precise the field I took off from and where the picture was taken are in Shropshire England. Shropshire is in the West Midlands…

Wow! It’s bigger than I thought. :+1:
Sorry everyone :blush:

It is right on the border and who knows why the border did this and didn’t continue to follow the river…
