Cleadon Hill - Added to Iconic Landscapes and Ancient Sites in North East

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

Cleadon Hill is a ridge of high ground standing between Cleadon village and the coast, with a derelict windmill on top and a disused water tower on its western edge.
Parking spaces along Sunniside lane.
Great views of Sunderland to the South and Tyneside to the North.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 11/10/2020. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

South Shields, not been up the hill for nearly 40Years…

Memories of snadgy picking school cross country runs and glue sniffers off their tits in the mill…

It’s a while since I’d been up there too - used to go frequently when I was younger, but then I moved to Blackpool…

It was probably the last time I’ll get there too, now my family have all moved away :frowning:

I’ve flown here too @MartG1960
