Cogra Moss - Added to Lakes and Reservoirs in North West

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

This is a nice place, parking at Felldyke village car park then just walk up the little road, there is car access on the road though a few gates, but its really access for the fishing club thats there. The members are nice to drone pilots and friendly, so why not enjoy the short walk and keep it that way. Nice scenery on the walk too, rakegill beck drains down the concrete chute from the reservoir.

Not really a lake and one of the lesser known to tourists areas of the lake district. Built as a reservoir by damming rakegill beck in the 1880s. Its use as a water source stopped in 1975 so its now really just home to the afore mentioned fishing club.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 30/03/2020. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
