Hook Recreation Ground - Added to Parks and Recreation in South East

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission not required.

This recreational ground has been approved by Fareham Borough for flying of model aircraft. There is a sign at the entrance saying that it is for the use of South Coast Solent Flyers but we cannot find this club anywhere. There are times when flying can take place and warning to other park users.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 15/09/2020. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Thank you @Shambleclown for adding to the DroneScene map

Hi, here’s a picture of the sign!

This sign has now been removed, flying can now take place any time or day. Fareham Borough Council have removed the restrictions, but Pilots most have CAA registration, Insurance and abide by the model flying rules and regulations. (Article 16 Authorisation)

Thanks for the update Simon @Asprin - it’s rare we see a turnaround on things like this!
