Lostock lime beds - Added to Everything Else in North West

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

These colourful lime beds (official name Griffiths Road Lagoons) deal with waste product from the nearby Tata Chemicals soda ash plant.

I used two take-off points. There is a car park at the end of Farm Road in Rudheath, CW9 7DY. Footpaths lead northwest and then northeast to ///care.blunt.hurray, a spot with clear views. Hazards are power lines and occasional dog walkers.

There is also a car park heading north on the A556. At the time of my visit, this is closed to cars, but you can park in a layby on the A556 and walk round. It can also be accessed from the end of Cookes Lane. Rough take-off location ///this.neck.hope. Some walkers and cyclists use this path.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 11/04/2021. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
