Lowgill Viaduct, South Lakeland - Added to Bridges in North West

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene - Location # 811

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

Lowgill Viaduct was built in 1859 by Joseph Locke. It has been disused for years and is now classed as listed. Parking around here is limited so could be tricky. There is a small layby under one of the arches so this is a possibility if you are lucky. I flew on a windy day so couldn’t get much altitude with the quad. Also both the M6 and the West Coast mainline are close by but shouldn’t be a concern if flying responsibly.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 24.09.2020. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
