Pyrford Church & Newark Priory - Added to Places of Worship in the South East region on the map at DroneScene.co.uk

I have has just added this to the UK Map of places to fly your Drone at https://dronescene.co.uk

Two stunning examples of church history dating back to pre-reformation times. One is now a ruin, destroyed by Henry VIII & Thomas Cromwell, the other is still an active place of worship, serving God and the community for eight centuries.

Just, be aware that this church is a private land and is all fenced. I went there to try to fly my fpv drone, and I couldn’t event get close.

Thanks for the clarification.

As per the video - it does say that it’s in a farmer’s field.

… and welcome to GADC, Yago.

If you want along the canalside you can get a beautiful view of the ruins from just below the lock. That is also where I flew from. You certainly should not go on his private land, he has that well signposted, but he does not own the air above that land and on a sunny late afternoon it can look really great. The church is also very much worth the visit!
