I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:
Land owner permission requirements unknown.
Parking is quite obvious if you follow sat nav.
there is a short easy walk from the car park to the abbey.
there are some information boards to read on site.
this is English heritage and the google maps says there is a £2 for parking but i couldn’t see any one or where to pay. nor was there any one around to ask if i could fly.
The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 26/08/2023. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
