There are many locations where you can stop for great photos on the A20 between Newtownards and Portaferry. Please note: Travelling from Newtownards you are in the Newtownards airfield FRZ until you have reached the National Trust property at Mount Stewart. Saltwater Brig, located on the edge of Strangford Lough just outside Kircubbin village, is a handy place to stop for a drink or a meal to break up your trip. They have their own free car park just across the road from the pub.
The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 26/07/2022. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
