I rolled my RC back to .700 at the same time as the bird.
People say the RC version doesn’t matter but my OCD told me otherwise 
Whether your batteries need doing on not depends on whether they were “flashed forwards” on the last firmware update you did. Not all firmware updates include battery changes so perhaps not.
The battery fitted to the bird at the time you rolled back will have already been done, I detailed how I rolled my batteries back in this post
