Having had a [frustratng experience](https://greyarro.ws/t/have-i-been-sold-a-dud-atom-2/101490) with my first drone, I’m hoping to sneak this one past my financial controller! ![image](https://d1q8cepst0v8xp.cloudfront.net/original/3X/8/4/84b12bf7d23615a1bcfebe767bc1aa01d540bf42.png) Thank goodness for Very and their 20% welcome discount. I might regret not splashing out more on the Mini 5, but I’m guessing I’m going to be in enough trouble already 🙂 . ---

That’s a great price for an excellent, tried and tested drone - I doubt you’ll regret it! Is the Mini 5 better? Behind the marketing spiel, only marginally; low light photography (but the difference will be negligible in daylight), slightly better wind resistance and an additional panorama mode. No, you’ve probably got the best bang for your buck you could get for a C0 class drone. Enjoy! ---

Your not wrong. The mini 4 is still epic and depending on how its used i’ld continue to recommend it. Especially as a budget conscious first drone.. The 5 does have significantly better endurance than the 4 along with a few other improvements along with the points you raised. ---

Hi @gaamuk I’ve edited your post to include the OneBox preview. To do this just paste the YouTube link into a new line on its own with no spaces etc. No need to use the insert hyperlink button in the message composer or any embed code, its all done automatically for you if you follow the above. ``` www.youtube.com/justlikethis ``` ---

The mini 4 Pro has the same problem, I"m told, but not confirmed myself as I rarily use Cine mode. 🤗 ---

I still say DJI should **fully** test these updates to check for possible problems, before releasing them to drone users. The recent update to the Mini 5 Pro clearly shows they didn’t fully test it. ---

Clearly not John, but I guess there is only so much real world testing you can do and there is a fine line between making a timely profit and maintaining an imacculate reputation. Let’s face it, DJI’s reputation as a market leader in the world of drones is pretty much second to non, and I don’t suppose they are particularly worried about hacking off the odd customer or two! 😉 ---

Hmmm not sure Colin. They’ve probably sold thousands of the new Mini 5 Pro by now. If all those owners, update that’s more than a few customers. Strange that these reviewers on YouTube find the faults/ bugs with only one outing. I’m sure they just test the same sort of things that DJI should be testing. ( just my humble opinion ) 😉😉 ---
