Yep definitely does jpeg and raw together.
Comparison between drone created jpg and processed raw using panocool. Both tweaked slightly with Luminar.

I prefer the jpg straight off the drone.
There is definite misalignment in this one using panocool.
I didn’t need to .. they emailed be today with details to try the Beta of the new version.
I’ll have a play, later.
So, now doubly impressed with Panovolo’s interaction. 
Of course, I don’t have an Avata 360 .. so if anyone wants to send me a few pairs of .dng … I can have a more extensive play than just the one pair from above. 
I’m actually impressed .. with the only one I have to test the Beta.
Can I find an error? Yes .. just two.
Obviously any errors are going to be around the horizon .. since that’s where the only stitch is .. but the following is the result of ..
- Drag .dng to Panovolo
- Export as .dng
- Drag to Lightroom
- Click “Auto” (I was being lazy - better could be done.)
- Export as .png
- Upload to Panoee
That’s at 13680 × 6840 resolution, too, and looks effing awesome at full screen on my 32" 4k monitor. 
.jpg export from Panovolo .. as mentioned, there is no image adjustment in the program.
The errors?
Chances are, in this image, they’d not be noticed by anyone other then the most scrutinising .. and almost acceptable. Seen plenty worse ones. 
Would be interesting to test with some with clean lines crossing the horizon.
@Darren_Rockach - if I send feedback to Panovolo, they may ask for the originals to play with .. would you be OK if I sent your .dng ?

I’m not entirely sure they are stitching errors. They might actually be correct and it was just like a haze.
Yes feel free to fire them off if it helps make the software work better. Is thete anyway I could get the beta version if I purchase a license?
I’ve looked at the original .dng and .. eventually found the location of those points. They are errors, and are positioned in a mirrored location on the originals.
I can also send them the locations of the poor stitching.
Yup - easy enough - I could forward their email to you .. or email them and say “Oi - I hear there’s a 1.12.Beta that handles Avata 360 .. WANT!”

Incidentally - one nice thing about Panoee is it’s pretty quick .. even on my dinosaur of a laptop ..
Longer for the 26+ images of other DJI models, obviously.
Didn’t adjust in LR for this one - exposure seemed pretty OK.
Not perfect stitching, as yet ..
Thanks for the Panovolo beta, it seems to work very well. Image is a bit noisy but that’s my fault, need to work more on camera settings.
A quick whizz around the horizon on that one and I see no problems.
As you say .. camera settings need tweaking for underexposure, and hence grain.
Pretty impressed with Panovolo support, they already replied to my request for the beta bersion with the details.
It seems a nice and simple bit of software at a very reasonable price.
I’ll get the 360 out for a few flights over the next few days and take some images to practice with.
When you’re as poor as me .. even free can seem expensive.
For the 26+ images, and with Panoee taking larger resolution, it just sped up getting from .dng to a working Panoee .. so I bit the bullet.
