Mom is 86 and has seen the drone fly a bit and that is about as far as she got. After a recent botch job operation on her eye and losing a very large percentage of her eyesight today I had an idea, she can see her mobile phone well but apart from that she can not see people in the room etc…
So today I put a set of goggles on and had them set to audience. I took the avata 2 around the garden, over the house and just a slow fly. She was able to make things out. She was pretty happy after this as at least she knows that if she wants to go somewhere and look around I can be her flight eyes and take her round the place. Her mobility had got really bad but appears her tablets she was on was lowering her blood pressure too much. At the moment she is feeling better and after the repeat operation if it goes well she is hoping to be going out with us and wearing the goggles to have a look around places she used to go.
