Dropped other half at a friends in Fleetwood so grabbed a few quick photo’s, quite windy and in a short video I did you can see my little mini 2se struggling to hold it’s place.

Back again today, this time less windy so got both of the lighthouses that make the leading line, in line.

If you’d backed up a bit in that first pic you’d have got the 3rd light in the row, on a post on the beach 
I think the 3rd light is now in ruin, Wyre light. I believe that perch just marks the training wall.
The post on the beach is shown on charts as being lined up with Pharos and Lower lights…
…though yes, the original Wyre Light is long past its best

Just looked at my charts, it actually marks an isolated danger (groyne), and is only visible for 2 miles whereas the leading lights of lower & upper Pharos lighthouses are visible for 14 & 28 miles respectively.

Actually I’ve reconsidered, it’s probably replaced the lower light, as the flash pattern is the same.
