That waterfall is amazing, well done sir
Lovely shots of a gorgeous place. Nice one.
Lovely interesting video Ted, nice post production prossessing.
very kind gents - thank you
I thought that was magic Ted very well thought through editing sequence what software are you using?
Very well made mate, loved that
I use Filmora 9 - has everything I need - but Iâm still getting used to it tbh.
Thanks for coming back to me. Was that the first one you tried or did you try others first just trying to see whether I continue with Davinci Resolve
Nice, I love a good waterfall.
Bril lesson on how to video and edit.
Cracking job Well done
I downloaded both the free ones of Filmora and DaVinci - I found Filmora 9 easier and more intuitive but resolve is very advanced but has a big learning curve - it also takes up a huge memory which became problematic when rendering etc I just plumbed for Filmora and paid the lifetime membership ( got a deal on the price ) and it comes with all updates etc. I had dabbled with Shortcut a while back - very good but limited.
Thanks for the comment - I cut out LOTS of footage to be honest as I reckon 3-4 minutes is more than enough. I just wanted to try incorporating mobile stills and video footage with the drone footage which seemed to work quite well - I intend doing more of this type of combination. Mind you, the walk & weather were wonderful so it wasnât hard to capture the feel of the place. It was a fine day out to be honest.
Its probably the easiest to access and quite stunning when up close - nice lazy day walk which I can thoroughly recommend to anyone.
Cheers for that update very good feedback that I will seriously consider much appreciated
I agree with you but worth it. I have not been using it long but there is a guy on YouTube who does a lot of â5 minute Friday tuitionsâ. Not fuss or blether, this guy is excellent. Just type in what you want to achieve e.g. âspeed rampâ and there is a 5 minute (or so) tutorial showing you how. Very clearly, very simply.
His channel page is https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTmY-LBmbLugkJ0ryZfjZTQ
Well worth a visit. He has taught me loads. Also often has free giveaways of titles, transitions, LUTs etc.
You are quite right - I am considering re-installing it on my windows laptop, but knowing me I will get totally confused in using 2 editors, one on windows and one on mac
The tutorials you mentioned are indeed excellent - Filmora is well covered too - what would we do without YouTube
Very nice, thanks for sharing.
Great advice guys as always much appreciated, if I was to go down the filmora road whatâs the best price to get the whole software as the water mark on the free one is pants
I found they had an offer on their site - ÂŁ39 for lifetime membership. Its paid me back already to be honest as its a solid package with LOTS of features built in, including music which helps wasting time fishing around the internet. I just wanted something âsteadyâ the did what it says on the tin.
