After the drone was safely packed away in the car

Took the drone up in the New Forest on Saturday while en route to Southampton and posted some of those shots in the “photo by drone” section of the website taken at Hatchet Pond.

No sooner had i packed away my Mini Pro 4 than a swan arrived seemingly very intent on gaining my attention. Fortunately, i had my still camera in the boot and grabbed a few shots…

Just be aware of the following: New Forest Disctrict Council - Flying recreational drones in our public open space areas is not permitted as it can be dangerous and annoying to other visitors. If you wish to fly a drone for commercial, film or survey purposes within any of our public open spaces, you must contact us to attain permission before your flight. You can email our open spaces team at open.spaces@nfdc.gov.uk.
Please don’t shoot the messenger! Of course were you to TOAL from Private land, with the Land Owners permission, then you could VLOS as far as you like.

If memory serves, they don’t have a byelaw to back that claim up?

I did look after the event and couldnt find one
