I own both the Air 2S, the Mini 3 Pro & the DJI RC, all of which I took out to Raja Ampat in West Papua, Indonesia in late 2022 to capture aerial footage while on a scuba diving holiday, where I found the Mini 3 Pro the easiest and most convenient to quickly get up in the air in between morning dives to also capture aerial locations of where we’d been taking an in between dives break for a drink or snack . Taking more time off to fly in the afternoons to fly several kilometres out to distant islands from my eco-resort base I found it easy to rebind the DJI RC to the Air 2S which I believed more capable of coping with stronger offshore winds. On starting up the Fly app it will recognise it’s a different craft so I just selected the Air 2S option instead of the Mini 3 Pro, held down the battery for the appropriate length of time needed for the binding to be signalled and Bob’s Your Uncle! This method can also be verified by checking out several postings on YouTube on the rigmarole for the steps needed how to do it.
