Took the drone out today to try and get a comparison of M2P and M2Z.
I was up at the top of a reservoir and took the drone few hundred feet below to try set up an up and over shot.
Was a little too cocky in sports mode and flew it backwards into some trees. It dropped about a meter then recovered, I could hear it hitting branches from where I was standing.
Relieved it was still in the air I hit record and then that’s when things got weird. As I was trying to fly it out of the trees I was getting OA warnings and it felt extremely unstable and wouldn’t fly in the direction I asked it to.
By this point I was worried Id damaged a prop or something else was so seriously wrong so did not hit RTH.
The video shows me trying to get it closer to me where I planned on ditching it.
On landing I realised the gimbal was limp and that’s the reason It wouldn’t fly where I thought it would and felt really unstable. In the video I can now see that the camera flopped to the other side while I was bringing it back changing the controls again.
