Filmed during blue hour over Arundel Cathedral in West Sussex using the DJI Mini 5 Pro.
I headed out just after sunset to capture that brief window where the sky holds its deep cobalt tone while the architectural lighting begins to glow. The contrast between cool sky and warm stone makes this one of my favourite times to fly.
Settings were balanced to retain detail in both the illuminated façade and the darker surrounding areas, keeping noise under control while preserving dynamic range.
No voiceover on this one — just a short, atmospheric cinematic piece.
If anyone is interested, I’m currently producing simple step-by-step tutorials on camera settings, white balance, cruise control and low-light filming over on my YouTube channel (Elevated Perspectives).
Happy to answer any questions about settings or approach ![]()
