Barbury Castle, near Swindon (and the little-known Farley Henge nearby)

A short video of a trip out today in the sunshine to Barbury Castle, just south of Swindon. From there, we walked a lovely round route through a series of racing stable exercise grounds and via the very unusual Farley Henge. The landscape is very natural and south of Barbury Castle there is very little evidence of human habitation.

I live nearby and have flewn from Barbury Castle several times. But must admit, I wasn’t even aware of Farley Henge. After some googling, it appears that the place is pretty much a mystery. There are a load of great places to fly in the area :wink:
