Bennerly Viaduct, Awsworth, Nottingham NG16 2YH - Added to Historic Buildings in East Midlands

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

19th century Victorian railway viaduct, no longer in use. It's the longest wrought iron viaduct in the country. There is a large dissused industrial area just to the north, which is ideal for drone launching.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 15/12/2020. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Thanks
But surprised it was not already there considering how many times it’s been flown by our members :grinning:

Agreed. Having just checked again, it was already there. Now I can’t work out how to remove my listing?

I’ve climber right along the underside of the viaduct in my youth. If only I’d realised that 50yrs later I could stand on solid ground and see the views from there. :joy::joy::joy:
