Breaking the speed limit - How fast is your drone? Find out on our leaderboard!

What I’m working on at the moment should do over 100mph. Of course it may do 100mph as a ball of fire but as long as I can get dvr of it breaking that speed then I won’t care at all

Betaflight can be set to show 3d speed if I remember? Power dive?

Sonic boom? :joy:

Was out with the M2P today trying to get a fast run, only managed 45.5mph
But looking back through my records I did find this with the Inspire 2

You’ve beat your own record by 0.07mph.

What size is the battery in your inspire 2?

@mickydd replaces @Njoro for the Inspire 2 record and takes 4th spot on the updated leaderboard. :+1:

This also gets @mickydd the Speed Freak Badge.

Just the standard pair of TB50 batteries, but very low use/charges

Cheers Dave, is there a prize?
A pie :pie: or something

Jees! They’re expensive! 6s ~4000mah for £170.

The prize is the badge! Wear it with pride!

Are the dji’s limited in speed? That’s a high voltage.

They are limited in GPS speed and pitch … whichever limit comes first.

Have you seen the size of an Inspire 2? They weigh around 3.5kg.

Think how fast they’d be if they weighed less ……

Congrats on Breaking the speed limit @mickydd

I’m guessing that was on stock firmware too mate?

Tempted to mod it?

Yes Rich @PingSpike
Was stock firmware.
No chance of modding it, have let it go.
Only flew it 4 times.
Lovely piece of kit, but spent longer continually checking it over pre and post flight.
Recently sold it and went for M2P.
