Liquid Poly/MEK (which Iām familiar with from my other hobby, model railways) gives off some pretty strong fumes, so make sure you are in a well-ventilated workspace when you do your repair, and perhaps wear a mask, or youāll be as high as your drone, and no smoking/naked flames eitherā¦
Thank you, hopefully I wonāt need it too often but good to know
I plan to get it looked a professional by Drone Doctor, I just wanted a temp fix so I could get above the confetti popper, going off. It would only be in the garden, not over anyone, and low ish level
Iām a beginner, even though Iāve had my drone for a good few years, until a recent meet i wasnāt too confident. I think Iāll carry on walking before I run just wanted another Mini 2, as I have all the accessories and multiple batteries. But, thank you for letting me know
Mine is out of insurance cover, apparently the Care Refresh doesnāt extend beyond that period and my home insurance doesnāt cover droves
No worries M8 . Good luck for the future .
I have my drone covered with Coverdrone. Around £70 for a years insurance which insures the drone and gives me public liability insurance as well
Iām getting the drone fixed by someone who knows what theyāre doing, unlike me
