If you have a nice open spot try flying around a foot or less over the ground.
It’s the only way I could get my M2P on leaderboard even with parameter mods.

I’ll try that, youtubed today that taping over the downward vision sensors places it in to atti mode. 
Might be able to skim the sand that way.
