I’m researching a theoretical place to take an aerial photo using my Mini2 drone. It falls within London Heathrow FRZ, though probably around 3km to the north.

How long are people finding it takes to secure permissions to fly, or at least get a decision one way or the other?

Hi, can’t take up to 14 day, but it can be quicker?

It depends how busy they are. I once got a call off East Midlands ATC 5min after submitting a request, to grant permission. But as previously mentioned it could take days.
