Can the Avata be flown with the FPV controller and goggles?

Dear Fellow Flyers, can anyone shed shed light on whether the DJI Avata can be flown with the DJI FPV goggles and controller? If so, are there any drawbacks?!
Clinkadink’s recent crash test impressed me so much I’m sure even the gatepost was impressed!

I belive so yes, tempted as it’s £500  And boy is it strong.

I guess the downsides is that the image quality won’t be as good as the Goggles 2 (not to be confused with Goggles V2 (FPV ones)).

For the record it doesn’t work with the V1 DJI Goggles, just V2 and Goggles 2 (the new ones released with avata)

Follow on question: Does it have to be the FPV Controller V2, or will the “original”/V1 controller also work?

I’ve been looking at Avata stuff recently. Musings incoming in a new thread, I think.

Edit: It seems it’s only the V2 controller.

No, just the V2 controller and/or the motion controller.

Thanks guys -v helpful! Now to swing it so my wife doesn’t notice :innocent:
