Is there time to mock up the field in Velocidrone* and mark out the course for simulator practice?
No, not this time. Maybe in time for September though.
* Other simulators are available and may be suitable for such a task, but I haven't looked into any others. It's been so long, I'd probably have to relearn the Velocidrone editor as well.

It follows a simple concept of past the bogs
Over the gate. Through a coupe of trees, head for the corner of the filed
Hard left over a gate ,down to the trees round the swing tree.
Hard right to the main field gate turn left. Over the trailer … finish

Will there be 230v power points available for charging?

nope but a lot of members have eco flows and the like. plenty of power to go around.

I did not sign up yet and am not looking to fly necessarily, but I was wondering if it would be possible to drop by tomorrow just for socialising? Happy to sign up and pay if thats an option

To socialise .. no problem. Introduce yourself to the committee members there. (Tent in the far right corner with a flag. Site layout map above.)
Insurance is needed to fly at the meet .. not fully sure of the practicalities once there .. but the committee members there will advise and accommodate if possible .. so take your drone along with you.
