Carver Footbridge, Coupe Green, Samlesbury (Lancashire) - Added to Bridges in North West

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission not required.

This is a wooden footbridge over the River Darwen.

Best place to park is ///doghouse.minority.sport this is on street parking on the edge of a quiet residential area. From here it is a 5 minute walk to the bridge, downhill on the way to the bridge slight incline on the way back.

Not much else in the area unless you want a peaceful walk in the country and a nice view of the river.

The bridge was opened in 2017 after the old one was washed away by floods, the bridge is made from sustainable hardwood with an estimated life span of 50 years.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 05/08/2022. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
