My daughters have organised a charity fun day to raise funds to support clinical trials for a little 2-year-old girl in their nursery who has Sanfilippo Syndrome, sometimes called Childhood Dementia, a life-limiting condition. With the trials, there is hope for a reversal of the condition.
I would love to have drone footage of the event in the style of content creation. We have reached out to some local film schools, but we are mid-half-term, so we haven’t had a response.
Are there any Dronies local to Sevenoaks that would be happy to come along tomorrow, Saturday 30th, and do some filming for posterity? Sadly, my own skills are not sufficient to do this myself, but I’m also supervising the grandchildren, which will be a full-time job when they all start heading off in different directions.
Thank you for asking, the event was an amazing success, my Emmie & Leanne worked so hard and did a fantastic job, raising over £5000.00 already. I’ll share a link for anyone interested in making a donation.
Sadly the drone footage was a fail I put Liams drone up as DJI still have mine but it went into RTH. When I got home I contacted DJI, they ran some diagnostic testing and concluded an issue between the mobile and controller So I’ll be buying new cables.
They’re my girls, Emmie (Bluey) & Leanne (Bingo) and Bluey’s son doing a runner, we couldn’t let him know it was really Mummy - he could be damaged for life Those girls went above and beyond, it was over 30 degrees
Thank you, I will. I’ve ordered new cables so fingers crossed that fixes the problem; it makes Liam very anxious when it plays up. I expect to have mine back for the Big Meet too, but if it isn’t there’s more time for more lights @FoleyMrs
Let me know if you have anything coming up for the future and I’d be glad to help out. Unfortunately I had surgery on my eyes on 27th May so have only just been able to red this.
That’s so kind, I will certainly bear this in mind - though it may be a little while before my daughter is up for another event, it was a lot of hard work
