Car park is small - and you need to climb past some barbed wire to get to the field beyond the end of the car park, and there’s a trig-point located in that field.
On the day of the meet (a Sunday), there was a coffee van in the car park, too .. but not on the following day.
The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 31/03/2025. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location. Landowner permission may be required before taking off.
Cars in the car park - it was full when I got there, full when I left. People had snuck out while we were flying. The intrepid aviators can be found toward the left of the picture. There is a coffee van but only from Thursday to Sunday.
I’ve been itching to get out all day was going to message you earlier to see if you wanted to go out but I think to later notice, so I just did a stroll around my local lake ( killed me ) then chucked the drone up in the air …
Having been brought up in the Isle of Purbeck, with one road out, I have an aversion to travels on a sunny Sunday (plus it was the Austrian GP today), I now live in a place with one road out which also grinds to a halt on a summer Sunday
