I’m sure they council has been trying to make the bypass dual carriageway since it was in the design stage. Same with the A64 north of York…

I worked on Clifton Moor (and then Monks Cross) for over 20 years. Was actually quicker to commute when I moved from York (Holgate) to Selby :smiley:

So the latest plans are in for the changes - but it’s more about the roundabouts than the lanes in between them

Because no one gives way now, it’s all about getting from A to B the quickest and that fooks it for all. It doesn’t take long for the bypass to get snarled up.
