Hi. My new (and firtst) drone has finally arrived. The weather seems to be better tomorrow, so i might go to Middleton Park to fly for the first time. Is anyone else going tomorrow?

I am in Cottingley, moments away from Middleton and would have loved to go, but had dental surgery yesterday due to a dodgy medication I was given after a vascular bypass operation to save my left leg. Wish I could meet up but still in pain after teeth extractions yesterday. :unamused_face::unamused_face::unamused_face::unamused_face:

Well, I just came from there and you didn’t miss anything great. Very windy, my light drone was all over the place and giving me warning about strong winds, so I just had to pack everything and go home after just 20 minutes, unfortunately. Hopefully next time!

Thanks. Yes, it was very short notice, sorry! I couldn’t wait to use my recently bought drone :grin: It was quite windy, anyway, so in a way im glad I didn’t spoil anybody else’s morning.

Nice to get out with your drone. Don’t give up on the meets. Some people need a bit more notice (even if to just charge some batteries up)
