The smacks and barges gather at Bateman’s Tower to start the 50th Colne Smack & Barge Match. Barges started at 07.00, Smacks at 07.30 and Mersea Fisherman’s Open Boats at 09.00am. Our video did not feature the open boats as the money on the car park was running out
