I have cover with Coverdrone, I’ve got an annual policy, better to be safe than sorry.
I’ve gone with Coverdrone for a few years, covered myself as a hobbyist flier to protect my drone & equipment and when I’m doing commercial “like” jobs, even charity or free jobs I’m still taking out 24hr cover. On a foot note, if you doing non payment jobs to get experience as I have lately, I’m still forwarding contracts for what they actually get as proofs etc. And I take out full insurance for that day or night just in case something happens. Better to pay a few ££s and be a safer person
Hello there!
Sorry if this question has been asked before bit I could’t seem to find many answers on the topic.
I have a DJI Mini 2 and am thinking of operating commercially and was wondering whether I needed any extra qualifications to do this? Or am I exempt as the drone is under 250g?
TIA
Joe
Lots and lots
I’ve moved your post here, the bottom line is you need commercial insurance.
