Are there fixed odds, or are odds dependent on ticket sales please?
Your name is entered as many times as the tickets you buy.
1 ticket = lowest odds.
1000 tickets = high odds … and a chance of being sectioned. 
Don’t forget, this particular prize draw has ended .. there will be another very soon.

How many tickets sold for each competition as this will make me decide to buy more or less tickets depending on the odds. 
ATM I buy 5 for each competition used to buy upto 20 at a time but even in slow motion and eye squinting I’ve probably seen my name twice in all competition even thou 5 or 20 each competition. 
Nobody running any form of competition will divulged such information because as you said you can then manipulate the odds in your favour (if you’ve got the funds that is) But yeah nobody running a ticket based competition will ever give out those figures.
Actually most competitions do specify tickets sold and put amount of tickets sold to one person to stop manipulation.
I reckon you might be suffering a bit of confirmation bias, @ziceman. You definitely don’t need to be a new member to win, nor do you need to buy a tonne of tickets… I’m living proof

I just see it as a way of chipping into the site now more than anything, and if I’m lucky one day I might get something out of it. I just never buy enough tickets that I would miss the money.
