A few Essex dronies (four to be precise) took a drive up to the Essex and Suffolk border and took a flight over Dedham on the River Stour right in the heart of 18th-century landscape painter John Constable country and just two miles from the scene of probably his most famous painting ‘The Hay Wain’ at Flatford Mill.
Strangely enough, all of us repeatedly suffered ‘Radio Signal Interference’ warnings so what that was all about, who knows. A great time and opportunity to get together again. The wives tagged along but I suspect that was due to the promised pub lunch and drinks post-flight more than anything.
