So now youve had a play with it Karl how bad is the latency? Thats what put me off of buying the module as I would have to fit it to my HDO goggles and wasnt sure how bad the latency would be without the low latency mode
I haven’t flown it yet. I started to fit it to my 5", but changed my mind half way through as its only a small vtx.
I’ve ordered a darwin baby ape from bg to put it in.
I’ve also ordered the full size vtx with micro cam for my plane, so if the weather is ok, I’ll know next Saturday.
On the bench, its barely noticeable. Its only there if you really look for it. The test will be behind trees etc

No. I think they will make them with a wifi module in the future so I’ll wait for that. Maybe. Not sure if I’d need analogue anymore, and the hdo2s analogue is ok
I can’t wait to watch 1080 movies on it when the misses is watching soaps.

Ah so youre gonna keep the HDO2’s ? Thought you might flog them and use the HDZero goggles for everything

I might sell them. There’s a bit of dust behind the lens. Can’t see when flying, but it might put the price too low
I did notice though, that the image quality up close is the same as hdzero (say 1-3m). But distant objects (houses past the back yard) are better in the ws. The nano cam isn’t too good. It has a very noticeable fisheye
Yeah I would definitely go for the micro cam if I get ws. Although the nano is a great option for the small builds
That makes sense, at that range any difference in resolution/quality will be negligible

Yeah there should be, there is no SD card slot but it should have built in 8GB of storage
