Dilemma at Pickering Pasture, Widnes

A lovely (but hazy) walk at Pickering Pasture, Widnes resulted in a picture I’m relatively pleased with. The dilemma is … colour or B&W ?

B&W does it for me.
More visual impact for the walkway leading to the bridges in background.

I agree - much prefer the B&W version.

Lovely shots @Geoff.C I agree with Kvetner and Bruce, its the B&W for me too. The contrast of the walkway, bridges and sky are much better in my opinion :+1:t2:

Black and white @Geoff.C. Enhances the sky and has more impact.

Like them both but I think the B & W version just edges it for me too :+1:t2:

B&W is a winner but both stunning :heart_eyes:

B&W

B&W for me, far more impact. Both great photos though.

Overall, I would choose the B&W, but I love the subtle colours which it is a shame to lose. Dilemma indeed. Why not keep/print both?

Mono obviously, but for me it’s a picture of two halves. Walkway is great but waterway and flats are both separate and a lot of nothing interesting.

Nice shot…also the B&W looks better for me.

I don’t want to look like a sheep but definitely B&W :sheep::sheep:

Mono - it has far more visual impact.
