#Sunsets …. I WANT TO FLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!
Contemplating GoPro in burst mode and a big catapult!
Desperate times Dave…
Wow
#NoFilter … as they say. Just as it fell off the DSLR.
Not shooting through a very dirty window in my “storeroom” (aka front bedroom) might have improved the result. LOL
I may leave it like this.
Some big elastic bands to hold the body top and battery on - video cable dangling - video cable covers off.
But ….
… and no errors!
GIN AND TONIC TIME!!!
Still got to finish the reassembly and fly it … but they shouldn’t be an issue. #FamousLastWords
However, this “angle of dangle”, the reason I went on my little £££ adventure, persists … and it continues to annoy me.
So - it’s just started raining (first in almost 3 weeks), thunder and lightning, and tonight will be 100% cloud and no sunset or blood moon.
I’m jinxed!
That last sentence came back to haunt me!
Well - not sure how much you followed of this rambling thread - but, in summary - my plan didn’t fix the “angle of dangle”.
I’ll be doing a summary post of pointers for anyone planning to replace either cable, though, since I learnt quite a lot over the last couple of weeks.
Fu*k the angle of the dangle.
If it works dont mess with it. Glad you back on track mate.
You never said that 3 weeks ago! Hahah!
If I had a crystal ball I probably would have though.
But does it still look wonky.
Yup! LOL
This looked very painful…
A few hiccups … more worrying at the time than anything.
Learnt a lot - which I must make into a “How To” with all the warnings that come from my mistakes.
I’m going to partly dismantle again to take relevant pics for the post … so I’m quite happy with it now.
The “angle of dangle” was never resolved, though.
