I’m reading that the 12th is the expected date for another teaser video and that the actual launch will be later in March?

Also reading that it will only ship with the N3 goggles and will have replaceable lenses… but I’ve stopped trusting any of these ā€˜scoops’ now

I already have the fpv controller motion controller and N3 goggles, if correct batteries are going cheaper then Avata 2 it looks like this will be a great buy just the drone and battery.

I know so don’t need to be told how great DJI are for the environment when it comes to releasing new drones :face_with_peeking_eye: there will be no option to buy without a controller so another one be chucked in the box with the others I have :face_with_peeking_eye:

I like to know as I have N3 already and they are good but never compared to other DJI goggles even using Xreal glasses has some benefits, is there a decent DJI goggles with dial diopter to complement the avata 360 can be recommended as I would invest in a pair now and buy the basic avata package when released.

Goggles 3 are still their premium version (I love mine)

The adjustment for the visually challenged is really good

I was thinking the same - just for the size difference over the N3, the Goggles 3 are worth the extra pennies for me. There’s also the diopters which, with my eyesight, might be useful.

That said, I also don’t really see out of my left eye at all (blurry colours only). Are the two screens on the Goggles 3 showing the same (i.e. whole) picture, or is it smart enough to split the image across the two and I’d be missing out on half the picture?

The hesitation I have in buying the 3 now is the ā€˜leak’ that the Avata 360 will only come with the N3. Does that mean it won’t work with the 3 at all, or am I massively missing the compatibility of the tech in the goggles and if the N3 works so will the 3?

Same, failed lazy eye ops as an infant, but honestly it works really well, I have the right eye pretty much set up to my prescription and the left eye stays almost bog standard.

Ideal, thanks Chris. :+1:

I tried the original goggles (old white affair) couldnt get on with them.

Goggles 2 on my Potato (DJIFPV) were and still are really good (with the DJI lens adjusters added)

But the 3 are different gravy.

I just hope that the 360 is available as a standalone drone/flymore kit otherwise they wont be getting my money for a while (although its never stopped me before)

Thanks Chris I actually seen this video before and was hoping Avata 360 was going to come with the G3 but then seen here N3 package

 Glad you said this as I was going to bite the bullet and buy the G3 now in preparation for instant use with the avata 360, hopefully someone says they would work otherwise I will have to use N3 until confirmed.

Ditto with the Mavic pro it was a nice experience to use goggles for the first time and even with prescription lenses fitted was still a pain to see the edges and when i got the N3 was quite impressed especially can where my glasses normally at the same time.

Us 3 should be called the 3 cyclops’s of the forum :joy::joy::joy:

I have block vision in my left eye after having a bottle full of petrol explode and glass fragments damaging the eye, it also causes problems with depth perception which I believe lazy eye people would have similar problems?

I biggest problem with my left eye I get a really sore cheek as in the sun I squint but sometimes wink but it unfortunately coincides with a lovely lady passing me to which I get a slap from the wife  that I now wear sunglasses that go around to cover the sides :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: and master the art of eyeballs can nearly rotate 360° when my head keeps naturally straight forward :joy::joy: and I definitely no problem with depth perception as well :joy::joy::joy:
