And… I’ve just watched on the tracking app as the courier drove straight past our house on his way back to the depot in Cambuslang. ![]()
Maybe tomorrow then.

Shhh
And let’s see what happens tomorrow… ![]()
More speculation and confirmation that DJI are doing another split-release again, where Asia gets it first and the UK/EU markets get it a month later ![]()
The only plus side I can see to that is that some other continent can be the beta testers for a month, so when it does finally arrive in the UK it’s ready to go with all the bugs ironed out ![]()
Roll on 9th April ![]()
Ffs Rich, ya have to throw a spanner in the works, cheers mate
Nothing to do with me, Mick – I’m just the messenger ![]()

On the plus side around £530 it cost me is not a bad price as I was expecting to pay over a £1000 when I heard new Avata was on its way. I know I’ve bought separately G3’s but they were to cover a few drones but I feel like I have a real bargain know and G3’s don’t feel as expensive.
oh man this is so trippy - defo need full fat refresh on this thing as I am sure doing them effects on the controller and you look at it and its flying backwards you will end up in that tree or water haha
Ian thanks for driving the hype on this to the next level - its been awhile since I have been excited for a bit of tech ( though you and others have been also driving my want for something I have little to no need for - the Rayneo Air 4’s haha )
Cheers @ianinlondon and thanks for this early preview ;o)
Have you flown the Antigravity?, and if so how does this compare?
Come and join the conversation @GAVINHR
Have you flown the Antigravity?
No; in fact this is my first 360 drone and I only recently got the Insta360 X5 so I’m having a real 360 video editing learning curve
But all you see in this preview video was filmed in flight and the footage will track the camera movement at the time of flight; you can grab any part of the 360 video in editing if you want, but you this preview footage is all uneditied apart from exporting it as a flat mp4 from the OSV 360 files it produces…
Cheers Ian, I have an X2 Insta (from new) and sort of love it when I remember to pack/use it.
The Insta Studio app is pretty good even on a phone (better on MBP), although I do most of my editing in Final Cut and it integrates well.
Hows DJI app compared to Insta?
Hows DJI app compared to Insta?
Yeah, way easier on the phone app. The DJI app is the Memo app used for the Osmo 360. The Studio for desktop is also the same as for the Osmo360 but upgraded to handle the new file structures. Personally I prefer using Premiere Pro but as yet, they still don’t have the DJI 360 plugin for windows; only Mac versions.
only Mac versions.
The new M5 Macbooks are stunning ;o)
Guess there’s still an embargo on discussing specs or class markings though?
