DJI Battery Killer repairing tool

i tried all steps you mentioned yet still unable to read the data, in addition do i have to disassemble the battery to recharge it with the power supply? also what’s the proper voltage of recharge.

thanks

What battery :face_with_monocle:

Yes

Mavic pro battery, used to see one LED flashing then tried reviving using CP board, couldn’t read with this message appears error: could not perform smbus read 0x00, now no LED at all

note: i haven’t disassemble the battery

Using this power supply, hopefully it’s gonna do what I need

Alright, a quick review of what I have done so far

Check the battery voltage : 11.24 v

Checked all cells voltage: 3.74 v

And yet I can’t get to read the Battery info

What else could be wrong?

Your patience is really appreciated

Did you get this figured out, I was having the same issue. Its seems my PC had the issue not the CP2112 board or my connections. There was an issue loading Device settings for (Device ID) were not migrated from previous OS installation due to partial or ambiguous device match. I tried updating my windows and that did not work. I got my daughters laptop and installed the software there and had no issue connecting. I followed the steps in the DJI battery killer software and now my battery is charging.

Thank you. You have saved me a fortune for a new Mavic Air 1 battery.
I started with just the 2112 module connected using the DJI Battery Killer app but it wouldn’t read. Added 9v, still no but 12v worked to clear all. Still wouldn’t charge, so opened the case and carefully applied 3v to each of the cell is turn for short bursts. Reconnected the 2112, ran Battery Killer and now have the battery accepting a charge.
Thanks again. (I am an Australian member)

am really confused about what went wrong :face_with_head_bandage:

Post a screenshot of the software with a battery connected and what is displayed when you try to read the battery info

And a picture of the cp2112 connections

The soldering looks suspect

Go in at the connector

I did mate , yet the same issue , I even tried the connector before I decided to go for soldering

try another CP2112 or another battery to test

Tried another battery, I’ll order other one.

Really appreciate your support and patience
