Actually there is two stories here as DJI’s new Dock 3 can be vehicle mounted for its autonomous flight system.
And BYD has developed a system with DJI that has a control system that the driver can activate
Seems the TV show Viper was way ahead of its time as the car in that show had a drone that could be deployed.
err… how does it deal with FRZs???
thought about deploying one of my drones at times to find a parking space sometimes
many a time I have wanted to do this too haha - there have been a few concept vehicles with drones attached for this sort of reason.
