First time I’ve seen the fly app problem happening to anything other than the mini / mini 2
Agreed, I hadn’t heard anything previously. Although they’re are many more Mini/mini2s than Air2s I guess.
Initially I thought it was me, being new to the tracking modes. But it wouldn’t do anything until I killed the app.
As soon the app was no longer running the drone responded as I would expect. Possibly a fluke but I’ll be keeping a careful eye on it.
I don’t like the app crashing, it shouldn’t but it does and I put up with it. When the app crashes and stops the controller working as it should, that’s dangerous.
Totally agree but please be aware it could have been me. I can’t see how as I should have been able to cancel the mode but let’s not jump to conclusions.
I will continue to fly as I have been, it does give confidence, in that there was no emergency, no panic just a ’ I’ll fly out back without the app then’.
Thinking on it now, maybe if I had hit the RTH it would have exited the track mode.

Android, someone has put a link online to a beta version of 1.4.8 1185 which GavinHR has reviewed
on Youtube and says it fixes the published 1.4.8’s issues. I’ve downloaded it but yet to install or try.

I’m still on 1.4.0 on both my S10 and Mediapad M5 and it’ll stay that way until such time as I’m 100% convinced DJI have got on top of the issues and fixed them. Early reports I’ve seen on the new beta 1.4.8 version are rather mixed so I’m still not sure.
I have zero issues on 1.4.0 so I really don’t really see the need to update anyway.

Have both a Air 2 and Mini 2 using Honor 8x which I have used for 18 months. The only problems I have had is the brightness on the screen, other than that have not had any problems whatsoever. Touch wood. Will buy SC next month if there is one available though, depending on the bank manager.
Had a quick flight with the Mini 2 today.
App crashed after about 3 minutes. Phone just returned to home screen. Restarted app, connected to drone straight away and had no other problems.
Tempted to look for an I phone just to run the app.
I’ve had all the problems with 1.4.8 but the new test 1.4.8 1185 has worked fine 3 flights.

I can confirm that the DJI fly app is working perfectly well with IOS 15 on my Apple 12 Pro.

Downloaded what I thought was the latest and it’s
NOT!
Didn’t crash but stopped me changing camera settings on a flight last weekend. Restarted app and all was good. On Air2S.
Ipad pro is just too big to hang on the controller (and too heavy for my neck)
Help before I create something out of RSJs for the Ipad!

Two flights today with the Mini2 no issues at all.
