Actually - I’d probably trust that site more than DJI. Remember, DJI have withdrawn versions due to “issues” … but those versions never got uploaded to that site.
@BingBong Bruce
As Dave says these are fine & have used them myself & was the ones I was on about anyway,
Sorry must dash for now, now have my own drama
Try this
- Download the latest version of the DJI Fly app from the DJI official website here instead of from Google Play.
- Please follow this path to turn off Google Play Protect options and test again:
Google Play — Profile — Play Protect — Setting — Turn off below two options — Re-install App and test again.
@SparkyFPV Cheers Wayne, that did the job. No idea why that should be different. It’s the same version 1.14.1 1005 that I had from the prompted download. I turned the Play Protect scanning on again after it worked, and no warnings. Unnecessary stress and time-wasting thanks DJI
I’ve got a OnePlus 12 running Android 14
New fly app for iOS

This update
- Fix some known issues to improve version stability and user experience
Have updated Mini 4 Pro and RC2 controller, have found that I can no longer toggle subject scan on in the settings.
Has anyone found the same thing happening.
Have updated Air2S to 1.14.2 on RC Pro, no update available for RC-1 controller but I have noticed is that the Follow mode / FPV mode no longer works, greyed out on Follow mode on both controllers.
Has anyone found the same.
That’s why I don’t do updates, dji has a habbit of fucking with your drone when there was nothing wrong with it in the first place
Hi Darren, not an expected outcome but you’re right they do manage to mess other parts up when they do an update.
I’ve not purposely done an update in 12 months Dave, they always cause problems. Only reason I have an updated mini2 was because of a care refresh I was sent on the mini2. It’s a piece of shit, constant signal loss, gimble goes all over the place when doing panos, video loss when 5mtrs away, constantly tells me I need to do compass calibration.
My Air2 however? Never any problems regardless of the distances I have flown, no updates.
I get what you mean… the Air 2 does go well.
