That’s what I don’t get. Why not have one decent sensor, and some decent glass options ie interchangeable lenses including a zoom lens.

Yep there’s 5 on my phone. But I think a drone is a different beast than a phone when it comes to photography.
The mavic 3 or whatever it is going to be will be prosumer so I would have thought it be aimed at the same level as a high end mirrorless camera, where the air 2s (or 3s whatever they bring out next) would be more of a all in one solution.
