Simplified:

Something doesn’t quite add up on this picture:

When folded, the props are on the bottom, much like the Mini.

But look at the hinge for the lower arm, it opens out straight backwards, meaning the props are still on the bottom?

Doesn’t it? :mag:

Or is there room for it to swing under?

I see what your saying :+1:t4: Didn’t early renders show the props facing down

Albeit the front arms

Trying to compare

Could be swing under

Possibly, it just looked a bit too squared off compared to the rounded Mavic 2 hinge

If what your saying is true, you’d never be able to land it with out digging up the dirt :joy:
and I sure as hell wouldn’t be hand catching :joy: The belly would have to be a lot bigger.

Looking at it more, it definitely looks hinged the same as the 2, there is not enough above the arm and nothing underneath to support and be strong enough to house a swing around hinge. :face_with_monocle:

The mount for the arm looks to go into the body telling me its a swing under.

@PingSpike see here see here lookie what I found.

If you translate the Chinese it says “MP4 Prototype”. :stuck_out_tongue:

And of the few manufacturers that build these type of consumer Drones I fear they never will.

From what I understand these specific C markings are unique to the UK, which in the grand scheme of things is a small customer base, and getting smaller. I could see enterprise products being offered with appropriate C markings, and at a price, but to produce a consumer drone to be complient, and without the ability to be modified outside of compliance, for a specific region, may prove to be uneconomically viable to the manufacturer.

We are becoming “unique” in far too many ways of late.

I would guess the UK is at way less than 10% of all DJI sales

That shell doesn’t match the one on the photo  But yes, I see what you’re saying, I just doubted the image because the hinge doesn’t look right (nor does it match this shell)
